A United Community in Support

With the active presence of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) limited at the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, local Nigerians have resolved to fill the stands at the semi-final match on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. According to Prompt News, community leaders in Casablanca are mobilizing supporters to cheer on the Super Falcons as they face off against the defending champions, South Africa.

Call for Action

Christopher Nwabuzor, a licensed football intermediary and local entrepreneur, urges the Nigerian embassy and sports authorities to distribute match tickets to the significant Nigerian diaspora in Morocco. “The time to support the Super Falcons is now,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of strong support for the team.

Supporters Ready to Make Their Presence Felt

Nigerian residents express their determination to attend the crucial match. Dandy Osawaru, an artist and founder of a local studio, echoed Nwabuzor’s sentiments, expressing hopes that ticket access will enable the community to truly cheer for their team. “A packed stadium will surely lift their spirits on the field,” he remarked.

Overwhelming Interest in Attendance

The collective voice of the Nigerian community indicates that if match tickets are made available, they anticipate a vibrant turnout, with thousands ready to rally for the Super Falcons. Among them are locals like Dennis Nwachukwu Ihebia and Elizabeth Shuaibu, who believe that widespread attendance will contribute to the team’s success.
