Aiming for Glory in Morocco

Nigeria’s Super Falcons are gearing up to compete in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which kicks off on July 5 in Morocco. With an impressive history that includes nine championships, they aim to add to their legacy. The Nigeria Football Federation has dubbed this year’s campaign “Mission X,” urging the team to strive for victory in every match.

Learning from the Past

Star striker Asisat Oshoala, currently playing for Bay FC in the USA, expresses her unwavering commitment to scoring goals for the team.

Star Power: Asisat Oshoala

“I want to score goals – it’s what I love to do,” Oshoala told NFF TV. After a brief hiatus from the national team, she encourages her teammates to give their best performance. “My advice is to always give 100% on the pitch and treat every game with equal importance.” Known for her formidable record at Barcelona, Oshoala is determined to be a key player in leading Nigeria to victory.

Fixture Highlights

The Super Falcons will face a challenging group stage with the following fixtures:
