Achraf Hakimi scores historic hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain thrash Le Havre 5-1
Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi scored a stunning hat-trick and provided two assists to lead Paris Saint-Germain to a 5-1 victory over hosts Le Havre in the ninth round of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season at the Stade Océane on the evening of Friday 30 October 2026.
The hosts took an early lead through Josh Maja in the 18th minute, but the Parisian response was swift and strong. In the 26th minute, Hakimi set up the equaliser for Mica Godts, then scored himself just two minutes later to give his team a 2-1 lead. In the second half, Hakimi added two more goals: the first from a direct free-kick in the 55th minute, and the second in the 69th minute to complete his hat-trick. In between, Senny Mayulu scored the fourth goal in the 62nd minute, also assisted by Hakimi.
Hakimi, who wore the captain’s armband, delivered an exceptional performance that earned him a 10/10 rating from Sofascore. He scored three goals and provided two assists in just 71 minutes before being substituted, took six shots (five on target), created big chances, and completed 57 of 63 passes. This is the first hat-trick of his professional career, and he also became the first Moroccan player to score a treble in Ligue 1 since Sofiane Boufal in 2016.
With this victory, Paris Saint-Germain strengthened their lead at the top of Ligue 1 and extended the gap with their nearest rivals, while Le Havre sink further into the bottom of the table after a series of consecutive defeats.
This outstanding performance from Hakimi comes ahead of an important Paris Saint-Germain match in the UEFA Champions League against Villarreal, confirming his status as one of the most prominent attacking full-backs in the world.
