Privacy Policy

InfoSports (https://infosport.co) and the Infosports Android app respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Who we are

InfoSports is a Moroccan football news platform covering news, live scores, tables and statistics. Privacy contact: contact@infosports.news.

2. Data we collect

Data you provide: the nickname and text of comments you post in the Fan zone, your email address if you create an account or contact us.
Account (optional): if you sign in with Google or email, we receive your user ID, name and email from Firebase Authentication, and store your favourite teams and competitions.
Match predictions: your pick (win/draw) is stored without being linked to your identity.
Notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging): a technical identifier used to send match and news alerts, only if you allow notifications.
Local preferences: language, light/dark mode and favourites are stored on your device.
Technical data: IP address, browser/device type and server logs, for security, abuse prevention and performance.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone data or payment information.

3. How we use data

To operate the website and app and display content.
To send the notifications you requested.
To publish and moderate your comments.
To protect the service against attacks and automated abuse.
To improve content using aggregated statistics that do not identify you.

4. Third-party services

We use trusted providers that may process technical data on our behalf: Google (Firebase for sign-in and notifications, Google Analytics and Search Console), Cloudflare (security and performance) and our hosting provider. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.

Ads in the app

The Infosports app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may use your device advertising ID and technical data to serve and measure ads; ads are personalised only after you agree in the consent form shown in the app. You can change your choice or reset your advertising ID in Phone settings → Google → Ads. 5. Cookies

The website uses cookies that are necessary for operation and security, and cookies for statistics. You can delete or block them in your browser settings; some features may stop working.

6. Retention

Comments remain while published or until you ask for deletion. Accounts and favourites remain until you delete your account. Notification tokens are removed when you uninstall the app or disable notifications. Server logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data and object to its processing, under Moroccan Law 09-08 on the protection of personal data and, for visitors in Europe, the GDPR. You can delete your account inside the app (More → Delete my account) or follow the steps on our Data deletion page.
