The 26-year-old Spain international, currently in the United States on an Under Armour promotional tour, addressed transfer speculation during an appearance on NBC’s Today show.
Torres Speaks on His Future
When questioned about his Barcelona future, Torres reaffirmed his existing contract with the La Liga club but acknowledged the unpredictability of football’s transfer market in a response that immediately reignited speculation.
“I have a contract with Barcelona, but in football you never know. I’m waiting to make the right decision. I still don’t know,” Torres said, as reported by SPORT.
Asked whether he harbors dreams of joining a specific club, the attacker sidestepped naming any destination. “My dream is to be happy,” he replied.

“I’ve watched it a thousand times because during the match I wasn’t really aware of how I scored. I only remember going crazy and running away to celebrate. I can’t describe that feeling with words. You have to experience it.”
